After some messages from the bidders I give you more informations so that you can bid knowing better what to do.

From the pos (normal computer)
and pocket pcs the employee can login
with their own account checked directly
on the main database.
the main administrator can create groups
that can be assigned to each functionality
in different modes
in each group can be set a user.
For example, 1 employee can be assigned
to the catering Area, another one to the
kitchen and so on.
Each Area can be added by the administrator
or someone added by the administrator in the
administrator area, and can be set as orders
only area(products are going out) or request area
(products are going in, ex. the kitchen) or both ( a self service).
The administrator can see and manage(add/edit/remove) the employees, the distributors/dealers, the taxes applicable, warehouses, the products in the warehouse, currency,
the products in each area, all the orders, the
bills, all invoices,
he can see statistics in the warehouses
to know when to buy other things from the distributors/dealers, statistics on the areas
to see what is going in and out,
financial reports with calendar and the selection
of day or month or year with financial graph.

The normal pos activities are just related to the orders,
on the normal computers(as pos) the application should allow the login and if it's an employee it
let select the available area where to work
and take orders, select discounts and special
prices, print directly the order with the total
amount including taxes.
all the buttons must be big to be used on a touchscreen.
On the pocket pc the same stuff except that the administrator will not login via ppc, if you add such features it will be rewarded as a plus but it can be really problematic due to the amount of features that must be in the normal application.
In any login type the language can be changed
by the user.

As the project say, it must be a full featured
application for an hotel/restaurant without hardcoded things related to the hotel/restaurant itself.
The application must work correctly (obviously).
The manuals must be in english language(html pages are enough), there's no need of a perfect english but the user must understand what to do.
